In SwitchingSphere, the goal is to keep the switches open for as long as possible. These can be controlled using two large buttons. If you press the left button, the left switch opens. If you press the right button, the right switch opens. If a switch is already open and you press on the button again which is connected to the open switch, the switch closes. The score only increases if at least one switch is open and it increases even faster if both are open. The are two types of balls in the game. There are blue balls which spawn randomly at one of the starting points, the canons and then start their movement. The blue balls bounce off the game walls. They disappear after 15 seconds and are then replaced by a new blue ball. There is a maximum of two blue balls in the game. The blue balls must remain in the playing field, otherwise a GameOver is going to occur. They can only get out of the playing field if a switch is opened. The switches are part of the game walls and when they are opened, they are rotated 90 degrees towards the inside of the game. This creates a hole in the edge of the game walls. If a blue ball gets out through this hole, you lose. The blue balls become faster with every minute that passes until the maximum speed is reached. As soon as a score of 300 is reached, an additional red ball spawns. The red ball also spawns at one of the canons. There is only one red ball in the game and it doesnt get faster with every minute that passes. The red ball should leave the playing field. If this doesnt happen within 60 seconds after it spawned, you lose. The red ball spawns again after it gets out of the playing field.
